Sheryl McKay

Sheryl McKay is an assistant director at Julian Charter School, an independent study school in San Diego, California. She and her team of teachers spearheaded the implementation of Summit Learning with a group of 50 high school students in 2016. Her passion is teaching, so Sheryl continues to teach one class of Integrated Math in addition to her school administrator responsibilities. She believes that everyone can be a successful learner and welcomes the opportunity to influence the mindsets and attitudes of her students, especially in math. Recently, she served as a Summit Learning Fellow and enjoys supporting others in their Summit Learning journey. In her spare time, Sheryl likes going to museums and taking amazing road trips with her three adult sons.
