Heather is the Director of Elementary Education at John Rex Charter School. She has been in education for 20 years serving as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and director of elementary education in the Oklahoma City Metro area. She has a passion for providing authentic learning experiences for children and adults of all ages. She is a mom of three amazing teenagers and one Great Dane, and a wife to a wonderful husband who has been her biggest supporter and thought partner along this ever-changing journey of education.
