The Summit Learning Program Today and Tomorrow, A Message from Summit Public Schools CEO Diane Tavenner
What started off as a small pilot at Summit Public Schools with only 19 schools in 2015, today serves more than 380 schools, nearly 3,800 educators, and more than 72,000 students across the U.S. Our community continues to grow — as does the team working in support of it. We believe the Program is ready to succeed as its own. With our support, a new nonprofit will independently lead and operate the Summit Learning Program beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.
Curriculum development is an art that is part of the everyday fabric of schools and districts across the U.S. With Summit Learning, a strong project-based curriculum helps students achieve three core learning outcomes, while bringing that learning to life through real-world projects.
