Lauren Partma

Lauren Partma is a 6th-grade teacher at Mckinley School of the Arts in Pasadena, California (home of the Rose Parade). She is in her fourth year of teaching and second year of implementing Summit Learning in the classroom. Lauren graduated with a B.A. from Sonoma State University, a M.A. in Criminology from California State University Long Beach and her Teaching Credential from Point Loma University. She attended Columbia University’s Teacher’s College in New York City in the summer of 2017. She has been an intern at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Maine, a volunteer for Huntington Hospital and is a member of the Tournament of Roses. She is passionate about integrating the Arts into her classroom as she believes the arts are a great humanizer, which helps people to understand each other.
